Your Grid Is Not a Strategy
READ. THINK. COME BACK CHANGED.
NOTHING PUBLISHED WITHOUT REASON.
A beautiful Instagram grid is a portfolio. It is not a strategy. The difference is that a portfolio is judged by how it looks and a strategy is judged by what it changes.
Content: We meet a lot of brands who have solved the wrong problem very carefully. EssentialismThe feed is consistent, the palette is disciplined, the templates are neat, posting happens on time, and the business is exactly where it was eighteen months ago.
The Architecture of the North Coast The reason is usually that every post is addressed to the same person: someone who already follows the brand and already likes it. That audience is comfortable and it is finite. Growth lives with the people who have never heard of you, and almost nothing in a tidy grid is built to reach them.
The Luxury of Absence A strategy answers harder questions. Who is the person we need and are not reaching. What do they currently believe that stops them buying. What would we have to show them to change it. Where does their attention actually sit, which in Egypt is increasingly not the feed at all but reels, WhatsApp, and whatever their friends screenshot.
The Digital Fabric Once you answer those, the grid becomes an output rather than a plan. Some months it will look less coherent, because a campaign built for a new audience rarely matches the aesthetic you designed for the old one. That is not a failure of art direction. That is the strategy doing its job.
Conclusion: Keep the discipline. Keep the palette, the type and the standard of the photography, because consistency compounds. Just stop mistaking the arrangement of the squares for a reason anyone should care.
